‘Agri Asenso’ Tops AM Radio Ratings for December 2023

DILIMAN, Quezon City—The Agricultural Training Institute’s (ATI) teleradyo program on DZRH, “Agri Asenso”, received the highest points in the overall audience share in Mega Manila among AM radio programs within its timeslot for December 2023.

In a letter from the Manila Broadcasting Company, “Agri Asenso” ranked first in the 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. timeslot every Saturday with 54% of the total AM radio listeners based on the December 2023 data from Nielsen Media.

Meanwhile, DZRH remains the top AM station in Mega Manila for the same month based on Nielsen’s survey, with 4.48% audience share of all radio stations and 42% audience share of AM stations.

“Agri Asenso” first aired on DZRH on February 6, 2021 with hosts Henry Uri, Karen Ow-yong, and ATI Assistant Director Niet Arceo. To date, a total of four seasons with 147 episodes were aired, featuring farming technologies and best practices of the ATI’s Learning Sites for Agriculture and Extension Service Providers, as well as programs and services of the Department of Agriculture and other government agencies.

In her message, ATI Director Remelyn Recoter recognized the important role of the program in reaching out to more Filipinos.

“We hope that we can come up with more topics to inspire our listeners and help improve their conditions,” she said.

For 2024, the new season of “Agri Asenso” is expected to start on February 10. The program airs every Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., via DZRH 666 kHz, DZRH News Television, and DZRH Facebook and YouTube.
