DILIMAN, Quezon City—The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and its network of training centers were successfully renewed its certification under the ISO 9001:2015.

This was held after the recertification audit held in December, with the final audit at the ATI Central Office last December 15 led by representatives from TUV SUD PSB Philippines, namely, Marijane Comaling, Len Marc Tagud, and Orlan Tiongzon.

The audit covered the processes related to overall management, policy and planning, partnerships and accreditation, career development and management, information services, human resources management, general services, document control, finance, supply and management, and internal audit.

ATI Director Remelyn Recoter expressed her gratitude in response to this accomplishment.

"Congratulations and thank you to the ATI officers and staff for this milestone—the recertification of ISO 9001:2015 on Quality Management Systems. This is for the agriculture sector's stakeholders, the ATI's 'raison d'etre',” she said.

In 2014, the Central Office first attained its ISO certification for the 9001:2008 standards, while seven of its training centers were certified in 2016. In 2018, the entire ATI network adopted the 2015 standards and was found compliant to this latest version of ISO 9001 which focuses on adopting risk-based thinking for QMS requirements.
