DILIMAN, Quezon City - As the capacity-building agency of the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is set to participate in the biggest livestock exhibit in the country on August 24-26, 2022 at the World Trade Center.

Organized by Informa Markets of the Informa Group, the Livestock Philippines expo is expected to gather around 10,000 participants from different livestock and poultry industries, including professionals, business owners, decision-makers, and other stakeholders.

For its part, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), together with the International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ITCPH), will showcase processed livestock and poultry products from different certified Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) in CALABARZON. Likewise, the Institute will also highlight its programs and provide advisory services and technical assistance to visitors of its corporate booth.

Meanwhile, the ITCPH will also hold a seminar on Climate-controlled and Biosecured Housing Facility of Meat in the Philippines. Engr. Margarita Crizaldo will serve as the resource person for this topic on August 25 at Seminar Room A at 2:15PM to 3:00 PM.

Consistent with its trademark in the exhibition scene, the Livestock Philippines expo is the leading international trade fair for innovative production and processing technologies for poultry and livestock. Aside from the grand showcase of cutting-edge technology and solutions in the global market, livestock enthusiasts and stakeholders can also attend technical seminars and conferences and personally network with fellow industry players.

For this year, Livestock Philippines will feature new exhibit highlights such as the Eggcellent Corner, Sustainability Square, and Innovation Zone to enlighten visitors about certain causes that would help boost the livestock industry in the country in line with the programs of DA.

“I hope with the return of Livestock Philippines to the market, we’d be able to provide opportunities for technological updates, expert sharing, and get the livestock sector to achieve high productivity with sustainability approach in production,” Rungpech Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director from Informa Markets, stated.

Furthermore, the event will also highlight different initiatives and approaches toward a more sustainable convention that would inspire and encourage exhibitors and visitors to be more environmentally and socially responsible.
The DA Livestock Group and other selected agencies are among the roster of more than 200 exhibitors that will feature their services, technologies, and other innovations to the expo attendees.
