PASAY City- The Agricultural Training Institute’s AgriKids: Learning Resources for Future Farmers receives its second Anak TV Seal for its grades 3-5 videos under the Television Category (Education Shows) from the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc.
AgriKids is one of the Institute’s commitments in providing learning resources to the youth in order to understand the important role of agriculture in their daily lives.
The Anak TV Seal is annually bestowed to exemplary television programs that fulfill the needs and help mold the character of Filipino children and youth. It was initiated by Anak TV, an advocacy organization composed of television networks in the Philippines that promotes media literacy and pushes the agenda for child-sensitive, family-friendly programs in the country. The Seal serves as a testament ensuring parents that the program being aired is suitable for children.
Through a video message, KCFI Vice President Edric Calma expressed his gratitude and delight to the Institute, noting that “this recognition is a testament to the passion, hard work and dedication and we are excited to continue our collaboration. It is our hope that AgriKids will continue to inspire Filipino children to take an interest in agriculture and contribute to food security and development.”
The AgriKids videos for grades 3-5 will be launched this 2025 along with the videos for grades 6-8. By the end of year, all K-12 videos, including those for grades 9-12, will be completed and integrated into the Department of Education curriculum with an underway Memorandum of Understanding.
The Agrikids videos for pre-kindergarten, grades 1 & 2 are now available at https://tinyurl.com/bdf6zdxv
The turn-over ceremony was held during the ATI’s 38th founding anniversary celebration last January 29, 2025, at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
