“We are looking forward to this partnership because it will benefit essentially the most vulnerable children. This is part of the empowerment that every child, family, and community needs.” - World Vision National Director Dr. Harvey Carpio

DILIMAN, Quezon City - The World Vision Philippines formally became one of the partners of the Agricultural Training Institute in implementing Agrikids. This was sealed by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing on April 14, 2025, at ATI Compound, Diliman, Quezon City.

The World Vision is a global Christian humanitarian organization devoted to improving the lives of children, their families, and their communities. They focus on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. Also, they help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by their Christian faith. As the largest non-profit organization in the Philippines with over 65 years of experience, World Vision helps over 1 million children every year, with the support of thousands of Filipino sponsors and donors.

Likewise, World Vision Philippines National Director Dr. Harvey Carpio stressed that they are looking forward to this partnership because it will benefit essentially the most vulnerable children. “We give you the commitment that we will be your partner. This is part of the empowerment that every child, family, and community needs. Building the capacity, providing them with the knowledge and tools in farming. To have the ability to realize the importance of agriculture. We want to give these families the option. “Importante kasi ito ang nagpapakain sa ating mga komunidad.” he added.

This partnership is very relevant because it will help ATI reach the most vulnerable children and those in the informal education set-up in the communities nationwide.

Moreover, ATI Director Remelyn Recoter emphasized that this will help address the pressing concern in agriculture on the aging population low participation of the younger generations.  Hoping that the Agrikids videos will touch, inspire, and influence the children, families to be part of the sector.

With the 2 Anak TV Seals and Catholic Mass Media Awards nomination, rest assured that the children of World Vision are provided with child-friendly digital learning materials.

The AgriKids videos for Grades 3-5 will be launched this 2025 along with the videos for Grades 6-8. By the end of this year, all K-12 videos will be completed to be utilized by the Filipino youth.
