Various information, education, and communication materials on organic farming were provided to over 250 walk-in clients to introduce and strengthen organic agriculture in the Philippines.

Related practices on urban agriculture were, likewise, introduced to the general public.

This two-day event, aimed at mainstreaming the best practices in food waste reduction, sustainable food consumption, and new technologies in managing organic wastes, has brought together different eco-friendly organizations and social enterprises from Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.

Each invited organization showcased their respective products and services as part of the activity.

Mother Earth Foundation (MEF), a non-profit organization advocating for zero waste management, spearheaded this activity in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Climate Change Commission (CCC), and Trinoma Mall.

Senator Loren Legarda, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, and MEF Chairperson Sonia Mendoza were among the guests speakers during the event.

CCC Commissioner Rachel Herrera, Ayala Land Mall Inc. Vice President AC Legarda, and other key partners of the MEF also graced the said activity held last January 26-27 in Trinoma Mall in this city.
