The Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Rice Extension Services Program (RESP) continued to achieve milestones in terms of providing training, advisory services, and other extension modalities for rice farmers in the third year of program implementation.
These methods are used to enhance the skills of our rice farmers on crop production, modern farming techniques, seed production, farm mechanization, and technology transfer.
RCEF-RESP is being implemented by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), and Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) of the Department of Agriculture, and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
