ATI Network Passes ISO 9001-2015 Surveillance Audit

DILIMAN, Quezon City - The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) has achieved another significant milestone by successfully passing the 7th surveillance audit for ISO 9001:2015 conducted by TUV SUD PSB Philippines, Inc. This accomplishment underscores ATI’s unwavering dedication to maintaining high standards of quality management across its programs, processes, and services that support the agricultural sector in the Philippines.

In the previous year’s audit, ATI received four minor non-conformities and 18 opportunities for improvement. This year, the surveillance audit covered the Central Office and the ATI Training Centers in Central Luzon, Western Visayas and Soccsksargen.

With this, the ATI achieved no major non-conformities, though there were two minor non-conformities at the Central Office, two minor non-conformities at ATI Regional Training Center XII, and seven opportunities for improvement. This progress highlights the Institute’s proactive and strategic approach to addressing previous audit findings and continuously enhancing its systems.

The audit focuses on ATI’s Quality Management System (QMS), evaluating its procedures for efficiency, compliance, and effective implementation. The external auditors expressed satisfaction with the Institute’s performance and formally recommended the maintenance of the certification.

Meanwhile, Director Remelyn Recoter commended ATI’s Central Office staff for their diligence throughout the audit process.

“Thank you for cooperating and providing necessary documentation to successfully achieve this certification,” she said, adding that this result reflects the collective dedication and hard work of the entire ATI network.

ISO 9001:2015 certification is a globally recognized standard for quality management systems, awarded to organizations that can consistently provide products and services that meet both regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

With this, ATI reaffirms its commitment to excellence, fostering trust among farmers, stakeholders, and the agricultural community.
