BAYBAY CITY, Leyte - Demonstrating dedication to excellence and continuous improvement, the Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center 8 (ATI-RTC 8) successfully completed its Midyear Review for 2023 on July 6-7. This activity was an opportunity for the organization to assess its Quality Management System (QMS) and align it with its goals.
In accordance with the recognized ISO 9001:2015 standard, the Midyear Review is a process for the center to ensure that its QMS remains suitable, adequate and effective. The ISO 9001:2015 standard lays out guidelines for building a quality management system that focuses on improving customer satisfaction and driving enhancement.
During the review, ATI8’s top management and staff assessed aspects of the organization’s QMS to ensure alignment with their strategic direction and objectives. The key areas addressed in the Midyear Review included evaluating the center’s Quality Objectives and analyzing Non-Conformities discovered during quality audits.
Moreover, they presented an assessment of Customer Feedback along with evaluating staff members who acted as Resource Persons in training programs well, as motorpool personnel.
Other key agenda on the different processes and policies within the center were also discussed during the two-day activity. This included updates on previous action items.
The Midyear Review of ATI RTC 8 demonstrated the organization’s commitment to consistently improving and delivering high quality services. The valuable insights gained from this review will greatly contribute to ATI RTC 8’s management in making informed decisions leading to improvements in their quality management system and service offerings.
