BANGA, Aklan - ATI-RTC 8 point persons from the different commodity programs of the center attended the 2022 ATI Commodity Banner Programs Culminating Activity entitled, Building a Foundation of Knowledge Creation for Programs. The activity, which was attended by point persons and Center Directos from the different ATI Regional Centers, was conducted on December 5-9, 2022 at Banga, Aklan.
The activity generally aimed to determine the relevant and innovative strategies among the commodity banner program implementers towards an improved decision-making and in the creation of new knowledge, relevant to program implementation.
Among the presentations were: Financial and Physical Accomplishments as of Nov. 30, 2022; CY 2023 Targets and Planning Guide for 2024; OA Scholarship Grant Guideline; ATI Banner Quick Survey and video presentations on the Best Practices and Innovation on Banner Programs per region.
During the presentation of Dir. Remelyn R. Recoter, OIC ATI Director, relevant institutional guidelines on the extension programs aligned with the directive of the new administration were also presented and discussed. A break-out session was also conducted for the different regions to prepare their indicative plans for CY 2024 per banner program.
Highlighting the activity during its culmination night, ATI -RTC 8 received the following major awards, namely: 1st Physical and Financial Accomplishments under Rice Program, 1st Physical and Financial Accomplishments under the Corn Program, 3rd Physical and Financial Program under HVCD Program, and 3rd Most Innovative Center.
ATI-RTC 8 believes that through these recognitions, the center is positive to see 2023 more innovative agri-extension services for Eastern Visayas. This wouldn’t be made possible without the partnership and continuous collaboration and support of ATI-RTC 8 with its partners and clients.
