BAYBAY CITY, Leyte - Representatives from the Agricultural Training Institute – Central Office visited ATI-RTC 8 on January 25, 2024 to conduct a performance evaluation of the Center. The activity was implemented to assess the Center’s compliance with the processes as it implements programs and dextension services. It also served as an avenue to oversee the operation and management of the Center.
Ms. Milagros C. Urbano served as the team leader of the Monitoring Team. With her were Ms. Editha S. Vinuya, Ms. Nemielyn P. Pangilinan, Mr. Joeven C. Calasagsag, Ms. Leonila D. Caiz, Ms. Marissa O. Galgo, Ms. Arlene Geminiana S. Nilo, Ms. Cindy C. Alfonso, and Mr. Mark B. Alvarez.
“This is not an audit; this is to monitor if ATI Region 8 has been observing the processes as you conduct your operations and activities,” Ms. Urbano said as she gave a message before the discussions.
Ms. Hazel Grace T. Taganas was also grateful for the time colleagues from the central office shared during the monitoring activity. “I hope we not only get good points from our visitors, but that they too will see innovations from us,” she said.
ATI-RTC 8 is the last regional training center to be monitored by the Central Office. This monitoring activity has been conducted by ATI-CO since 2022, evaluating the operations of the 16 ATI regional training centers in the country.
